Making Sure Your “Getting Ready” Photos are Picture Perfect

Lots of couples like to have us there while they’re getting ready on their wedding day. It’s an exciting time for the bride, groom and their wedding party, and can make for some really fun pictures!

It’s also a time when parents, grandparents and other close family and friends come in to say hi before the ceremony. This is a great opportunity for photos with your loved ones, which is why we’d like to provide a few tips on how to make these photos frame-worthy!

1.) Keeping it tidy. Keep the area clean of water bottles, finished breakfast plates and any other trash or clutter. You’d hate to have that perfect photo with your grandparents ruined because of any mess in the background. You can solve this problem by having a designated area for all cups and snacks!

2.) Have everyone else dressed before you’re dressed. Have parents and loved ones be ready well before the bride is. We all throw on our casual clothes when getting ready. So if your mom is getting ready in the room with you, and people are coming in for photos, it would be better if she wasn’t in her old Nike t-shirt while you’re in your wedding dress.

3.) Give a stylish gift. Nip any too-casual outfit choices in the bud by giving your bridesmaids and loved ones a pretty “getting ready” gift! Something like these robes and slippers would be perfect!
