Jessica got ready at her mom’s house, surrounded by all of her bridesmaids, and finished up putting her dress on in the bridal room at The Estate on Second in Santa Ana. Her dress was a gorgeous, vintage inspired gown and the bridesmaids dresses, in shades of turquoise, went perfectly with it. Jay saw Jessica for the first time during their first looks in the upstairs room. Vintage furniture, red brick, white walls, beautiful lighting and an intimate setting made it a perfect place for these two to share a moment before the craziness of their wedding day began.
Their ceremony was beautiful, officiated by a good friend and in front of a very cool, gold geometric backdrop. Their cocktail hour decor had a Mexican flare, with emptied enchilada sauce cans filled will cacti, colorful cloths, mini maraca table identifiers, and a stunning orange, red and yellow “amor” sign made by the bride herself (along with all of the impressive and eye catching calligraphy)! The reception was an upscale gold and black affair personalized with guests names on white octagon tiles at each setting. Their cake table had several adorable bundt cakes, with perfect “love” themed cake toppers.
